Canon 10-22 mm has entered the market late 2004. The Canon EF-S 10-22 mm has a Short-back focus design, so the lens can only be used on Canon cameras with APS-C sensor. The unique feature of this wide angle zoom lens is the extremely large wide angle this lens offers for a camera with an APS-C sensor. The viewing angle corresponds to a 16-35 mm zoom lens on a camera with a full-frame sensor. For a wide angle zoom, the Canon 10-22 mm is also very light.
