The iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (Wi-Fi/Cellular Global – 4th Gen) features a fully-laminated, antireflective 12.9″ LED-backlit 2732×2048 “Liquid Retina” display (264 ppi, 600 nits) surrounded by a thin black bezel and packed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides. This iPad Pro is powered by an eight-core 2.5 GHz Apple A12Z Bionic processor, an “embedded M12 coprocessor” and a “Neural Engine” for assistance with machine learning and AR. It is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of flash storage.
Other notable features include LiDAR and trackpad support via a new, optional “Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro” and third-party devices. The battery life of this iPad Pro model is reportedly 10 hours “surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video” or 9 hours “surfing the web using cellular data.” This model has a software-based eSIM that can be used to switch between some carriers in addition to a nano SIM slot to use “traditional” SIM cards.
